Teachings
God gave me 7 key principles as the foundation for this ministry. A solid foundation that is not easily moved.
Discipline
Focus
Sacrifice
Matthew 25:35–40 “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
When serving God, we will have to make many sacrifices. Sacrifice comes with the commitment to serving God. Because of our commitment, there are times when we cannot go straight home from work or go out to dinner with friends when there is a call to minister in prayer to someone in the hospital. We must put off going home to relax when there are brothers and sisters in need of our help. There are many sacrifices that requires our time and attention. The reward is far greater than any sacrifice we can offer.
Servanthood
2 Timothy 2:24 “ And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,“
Obedience
Matthew 22:36-40 “ Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
Love
John 13:34 “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.“
How can we minister to God’s people without love? In order for God to move in us, we first must have love in our heart for the people of God just as He loves us. Otherwise, it is just an act of performance. We do not perform, we MINISTER!! Love is the essence of it all. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Now, that’s the kind of love that we must give to one another. Ministering is all about sharing love to others through our daily walk and through our ministry.
